The Benson Model

The Benson Model is a traditional split entry home. The house enters from a covered porch into a foyer; a foyer which also features inside access from the garage. The stairs leading upstairs to the lower level and the main level are stacked next to each other, with a half wall along the main level to keep an open concept, bright entry. The stairs lead into the kitchen, though the entire living space is visible. The kitchen is small, but absolutely functional. The open space in the kitchen joins with the dining space, creating a large space for entertaining. There is a patio door off of the dining space, leading to a rear deck. The living space is open to the dining and is tucked parallel to the stairway. There is a short hallway off the side, which leads to the master bedroom, two modest secondary bedrooms, and the main bathroom.
